Holiday Wardrobe

Although I'm back in the cold of London I thought I'd put up a couple more posts of what I wore on holiday last week when my days were filled with sunshine and my biggest stresses were choosing toppings on frozen yoghurt.

Grace Atelier De Luxe is a bag brand I was introduced to recently stocking the most beautiful bohemian summer bags, each hand crafted from the softest leathers. There is nothing like a perfect slouchy bucket bag to fill up with summer essentials. This one comes in a fringed version too which is at the top of my wish list along with their ikat clutch bags.

The asos sandals I'm wearing are the best thing I bought all summer, I've worn them to death. They're similar to the ancient greek sandals I really wanted but cost £20 instead of £150 and are so comfortable I've just thrown them on with everything. 

Quadruple Denim

How much denim is too much denim? I think we can probably safely assume this outfit has taken it one cotton-twill step too far.

Weekend-Wear

As someone for whom dressing up is a pair of shoes not sneakers, my outfits on a Saturday night tend to get a response from friends of: 'you couldn't have made a bit of an effort?'.

I've realised lately that the way to avoid changing out of the same white tshirt you wore all day for an evening out, is all in the leg and footwear. Take off your boyfriend jeans and throw on your black waxed denim jeans and a chunky heel. Or switch up the ripped skinnies for a skirt and suede thigh high boots... and they'll all be fooled into thinking you're the most sophisticated of beings.

The Adidas Superstars are off my feet for ONE DAY ONLY, time to give the Gazelles a chance to see sunlight. Paired with my favourite new tshirt courtesy of DKNY and I'm hot to trot.

When wearing an arrow emblazoned across one's top, it's only natural to move vigorously in that direction, pointy fingers and all. This does tend to mean you seem to end up moving in circles for hours on end, but it's all worth it in the name of fashwaaaan.

...On a Friday in March.

As the weather gets warmer, coats turn to jackets and the layers come off. Today I'm just wearing a vintage bomber thrown over a uniqlo tshirt enjoying the best of British sunshine!

My feet are permanently clad in these Adidas Gazelles at the moment, they may even be usurping 'prize trainer' position in my shoe cupboard from my Adidas Superstars. 

Comfortable, simple and just the right side of retro, they seem to go with everything.

A classic look today, but with the added twist of this awesome jacket from John Wayne's recent collection for French brand Maje. Designing clothes from the grave is that cowboy's speciality.
